About the Role

We are looking for an experienced *Prompt Engineer

• with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, testing and optimizing prompts for AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of *Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering and AI-driven applications.

• The candidate should be able to understand business requirements and convert them into effective prompts and AI workflows that produce accurate, reliable and consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize prompts for LLM-based applications.

• Create structured prompts for different business use cases and workflows.

• Experiment with different prompting techniques to improve AI output quality.

• Work with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini or similar models.

• Develop and test prompt templates, system instructions and evaluation criteria.

• Analyze AI responses and identify issues such as hallucinations, inconsistency and irrelevant outputs.

• Improve prompt performance through continuous testing and iteration.

• Work closely with developers, product managers and business teams.

• Translate business requirements into effective AI prompts and workflows.

• Create prompt evaluation and testing frameworks.

• Document prompts, experiments, results and best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs and AI agent technologies.

Required Skills

• \\4+ years of experience\*\
• in Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, AI/ML or a closely related role.

• Strong practical knowledge of \\Prompt Engineering and LLMs\\.

• Experience working with models such as \\OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini or similar LLMs\\.

• Strong understanding of prompt techniques such as:

• Zero-shot prompting

• Few-shot prompting

• Chain-of-thought prompting

• Role-based prompting

• Structured output prompting

• Context engineering

• Experience with \\RAG and AI-based workflows\*\
• is preferred.

• Understanding of APIs and AI integrations is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to test, evaluate and continuously improve AI outputs.

• Excellent written and verbal \\English communication skills\\.

• Ability to clearly understand business requirements.

• Ability to document prompts and AI workflows effectively.

• Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong attention to detail.

Working Hours

Working Time: IST

The candidate must be comfortable working according to the assigned \\IST working schedule\*\

• and attending required team/client meetings during working hours.

Work From Home

This is a 100% Work From Home position.

The candidate must have:

• A reliable internet connection.

• A suitable professional work environment.

• Availability during the assigned IST working hours.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on production-level Generative AI applications.

• Experience with RAG, vector databases and AI agents.

• Experience with prompt evaluation and LLM benchmarking.

• Experience working with international clients.

• Knowledge of Python and AI/ML concepts.

What We Are Looking For

Pay: ₹50,000\.00 - ₹80,000\.00 per month
